Minerva BC

The Challenge: Since 2015, Minerva have released a Face of Leadership Scorecard, designed to measure increases in the representation of women leaders across organizations and industries. However, improvements in leadership diversity have not been fast enough to show substantial changes. Minerva needed to rethink their scorecard to ensure it was effective in both measuring and accelerating the pace of change.

Our Tools

By researching impactful leadership diversity initiatives, local and international scorecards, and considering potential metrics to measure progress, we laid out the current landscape upon which Minerva’s scorecard could catalyze change. We added to this with an internal documentation review and interviews with key stakeholders to understand Minerva-specific perspectives.

With our comprehensive innovation and strategic planning experience we then mapped out a clear strategy, a staged approach, timelines, integration with other strategic initiatives, partnership opportunities, and evaluation of outcomes.

The Impact

“Victoria’s work on the Face of Leadership Scorecard has been a crucial step in ensuring Minerva creates the most impactful change for diversity in leadership. Within a short timeframe, Victoria delved into the research, and interviewed team members, Board and wider stakeholders to truly understand Minerva’s challenges, priorities and visions for the future. She clearly articulated a forward-thinking strategy that was innovative, yet practical, and integrated with our wider portfolio. We are excited to continue our work with her in the re-development this central pillar to improving leadership diversity.”
