Women’s Health Research Cluster

As an international network
of researchers, clinicians, community partners and trainees, working to advance the health outcomes of women worldwide, the WHRC were challenged with aligning with all stakeholders on a clear vision, whilst maintaining a non-hierarchical organizational model.

Our Tools

Victoria facilitated a collaborative and interactive strategy session to clearly articulate WHRC’s identity, stakeholders, vision, goals and short-term needs. From that, she drafted the WHRC’s first Strategic Plan and supported in the co-creation of values, and the stakeholder approval process. Victoria continues to work with the WHRC on a suite of partnership, fundraising, and thought leadership projects.

The Impact

“We didn’t recognize the importance of having a Strategic Plan, until Victoria walked us through a seamless process and whipped one up like magic. It helped focus discussions on our priorities, enabled our leadership to get aligned on our future, identified partnership opportunities, and mapped out the steps we need to take to have the impact we need for health equity.”

- Dr. Liisa Galea, Co-Lead, Women’s Health Research Cluster, Professor at UBC
